Shiv Shivakumar

Mr. Shiv Shivakumar currently serves as the Operating Partner at Advent International. Prior to his role at Advent International, he held the position of Group Executive President, Corporate Strategy at Aditya Birla Group. Before joining Aditya Birla Group, Mr. Shivakumar served as the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer at PepsiCo Holdings Private Limited in India. Additionally, he has held the position of CEO for emerging markets at Nokia in his previous professional endeavours. Mr. Shivakumar is an engineer from IIT Madras and followed it up with management courses at IIM Calcutta and The Wharton Business School. He is a distinguished alumnus from both IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta. He has received many awards for leadership, turnaround, transformation, brand building, HR practices etc. He was awarded the KPMG- AIMA award for Outstanding leadership and the Asian Association of Management organisations Asia leadership award. Mr. Shivakumar is also a prominent speaker, delivering over 25 convocation speeches at various top Business Schools like IIM Kozhikode, IIM Trichy, IIM Nagpur, and others. He is a regular contributor to business press, teaches at premier business schools, and is a sought-after speaker for corporate events. He has authored three books: "Reflections, a compilation of Shivs articles", "The Right Choice, Resolving Ten career dilemmas", and "The Art of Management."

Helen Brand OBE

Chief Executive,
ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK)

Helen Brand is chief executive of ACCA, the global body for professional accountants, a post she has held since 2008. Helen has built her career within professional bodies and has considerable experience and knowledge of the 178 markets in which ACCA currently operates. She is a founding member of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and now serves as a co-Vice-Chair of the Value Reporting Foundation which was created through the merger of the IIRC and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) in June 2021.

She is a member of the UK government’s Professional and Business Services Council, and she was appointed to the UK DIT’s Trade Advisory Group on Professional Advisory Services in August 2020. One of the few women to lead a global professional body, Helen is a regular media commentator on the role ethics and the delivery of public value play in business and society.

Md. Sajid Khan

Director (India), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

Md. Sajid Khan is Director – India at ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). His current role builds on over 17 years of experience working for ACCA, where he has gained considerable experience in projects that develop and sustain the accountancy profession, working with partners and other stakeholders to meet the demand for professional accountants across growing economies. Presently, Sajid’s primary focus is on leading the professional body’s strategy in India so that ACCA can make a substantive contribution to the rapid development of the Indian economy. Sajid has held leadership roles at ACCA across a range of markets for over 16 years. Prior to his current role, Sajid was the Head of International Development. In his earlier roles, he has been the Head of Business Development – Education, ACCA Middle East. This wide-ranging role involved business development in the Middle East, working closely with colleges, universities and ACCA learning partners in the region. He was also responsible for executing ACCA’s education strategy in the Middle East, and managing key relationships with learning partners across these markets, which included on-going support and monitoring. Before moving to this regional post, Sajid was Country Manager for ACCA Oman, directing all activity across the market.

Dr. Amit Sareen

Dr. Amit Sareen has accumulated over 26 years of experience in both Industry and Academics. He has worked with prominent Information Technology and Telecom firms such as Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Aircel in India and the United States. His expertise lies in various areas including Business Relationship Management, Program Management, Operations, Information Technology, Human Resource Management, Organization Change Management, Talent Acquisition, Academic Interface Development, Account Management, and General Management. Dr. Sareen is currently serving as the Dean (Academics) at IMT Ghaziabad. With previous roles as Director and Professor at a leading business school, he possesses extensive expertise in various areas including academic administration, financial control, faculty and staff management, marketing, and compliance with regulatory standards. He has also contributed to the development of Management Development Programs (MDPs). During his tenure at TCS, He assumed leadership roles in the company's New York-based operations and managed key accounts, including Bank of New York and GE Corporate. He played a pivotal role in establishing a new office and training center in New York State for TCS.

Dr. Anil Kumar

Dr. Anil Kumar is an accomplished professional holding key positions as Director (Independent) at Life Insurance Corporation of India, CEO of the University of Delhi Foundation, and Professor at the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics. He is an alumnus of SRCC, Delhi School of Economics, and Harvard Business School, specializing in Finance, Corporate Governance, and Higher Education. Dr. Kumar has a Ph.D. in Corporate Governance from the University of Delhi and is the founder of Vittshalla, a Financial Education Cell launched by the late Finance Minister of India, Mr. Arun Jaitley. He has made significant contributions to research, publishing articles in national and international journals, presenting at global conferences, and conducting executive development programs for various audiences. Dr. Kumar is a leading consultant in higher education and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and serves as a National Executive Member of the Indian Accounting Association.

Mr. Sadaf Sayeed is a founding CEO of Muthoot Microfin Ltd., since the start of the business in 2010, Mr. Sayeed led Muthoot Microfin Ltd to become the 4th largest NBFC-MFI in the country, managing Rs 7000 crore AUM, catering to 2 .1 million rural households having 8500 employees and 925 branches across 17 states. Mr. Sayeed has 2 decades of experience in the Banking and Financial service industry. He has worked in leadership roles with various financial services organisations such as Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, Indiabulls Financial Services, Satin Credit Care Ltd, HDFC Bank and GE Money. Mr. Sayeed has hands on experience in policy-making, credit administration, operations and Risk management with expertise in the retail lending business and core competence in unsecured small and large loans. Harpreet Singh
