IOD Announcement: IOD Delegation meets Mr. Rajnath Singh
In a significant step towards strengthening greater engagement with key policy and regulatory stakeholder. an esteemed delegation from the Institute of Directors (IOD), India comprising Lt. Gen. Surinder Nath, PVSM, AVSM (Retd.). President. Institute of Directors. India and Mr. Ashok Kapur, IAS (Retd.). Director-General. Institute of Directors. India. called on Hon'ble Union Minister of Defence, Govt. of India, Mr. Rajnath Singh to brief him on the lnstitute's key initiatives. its national and global engagements. and its ongoing efforts to advance corporate governance excellence across India and beyond. The delegation also highlighted IOD India's contribution to strengthening corporate governance. enhancing board effectiveness. and developing ethical and competent board leadership.
The Hon'ble Minister appreciated the lnstitute's sustained efforts in promoting good governance. ethical leadership. and excellence in directorship. and acknowledged its growing role in shaping responsible board leadership across sectors.
The interaction marked an important milestone in IOD India's engagement with key national institutions and looks forward to further strengthening its engagement with the Ministry of Defence.
