She has rich and diverse experience of around 38 years in the areas of Finance. She has been long associated with financial markets in general and MII space performing various roles. She has worked in multiple organisations like PFC, IIM-B, BgSE, BgSE Financials, Invest smart, NSE, Edelweiss Group. She has also been part of various reforms in capital market, actively participating in policy making through various Committees constituted by Regulators and stock Exchanges.

Ankit Todi

Chief Sustainability Officer
Mahindra Group

Leading sustainability strategy and partnerships for the Mahindra Group, a $70B+ market cap federation of companies headquartered in India and with a presence in multiple sectors including auto, farm equipment, agriculture services, renewable energy, logistics, hospitality, real estate, and more. My role involves handling all conversations & relationships related to environmental sustainability for the Mahindra Group, working closely with the group leadership. My personal interest & passion for the subject got me into this role.

My former experience is in the strategic management consulting space, having worked with Bain & Company for ~7 years across projects in multiple industries (e-com, logistics, CPG, real estate, etc.) focused on strategy, due diligence, and implementation. I managed to get a Master's degree in Information & Communication Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi :)

Outside of professional commitments, I am also actively involved in equity investing & start-up community. Currently supporting (as a mentor, friend, advisor & angel investor) a few nascent and Series A ventures, with a focus on climate tech. space. Thoroughly enjoy a brainstorming session on most things under the sun, with an active interest in the environment, investments, and social enterprises!

Rajesh Kumar Dangeti

He is a post graduate in commerce and also holds an MBA, PG Degree in Securities Laws.

Rajesh Kumar D joined SEBI in 1997. He has experience in the regulatory areas of Capital Market prior to joining SEBI.

Prior to joining SEBI :
(1) He had worked in the areas of Merchant Banking, Issue Management, Share Registry etc.
(2) He has also worked with Vijaya Bank Housing Finance as a Probationary Officer.
(3 )He was Regional Director of SEBI Northern Regional Office, Delhi from June 2021 to June 2023.

In SEBI he has worked in various capital market areas such of Supervision of Intermediaries, Supervision of MIIs, Surveillance, Corporate Finance – Issue management, Takeovers, CIS, Policy making regarding Intermediaries like Brokers, Depository Participants, Registrars and Share Transfer Agents, Merchant Bankers, MIIs i.e. Stock Exchanges Depositories, KYC, CIS, FATF, AML etc. Having worked in the private sector and with the Regulator, he has a rich perspective of the regulated and the Regulator.

Also he represents SEBI in various committees of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), meetings of the MoF, FIU etc. He has also represented SEBI in International for a on areas pertaining to MIIs, Commodity Derivatives, KYC, AML, FATF etc.,

Niraj Verma, IRTS

Principal Chief Safety Officer - (Additional Secretary level to Government of India) Western Railways. Indian Railway Traffic Service

I am a civil servant selected through the UPSC batch of 1995, as an IRTS officer. Presently, i am the Principal Chief Safety Officer for the entire Western Railway, which is equivalent to an Additional Secretary rank to the Government of India. The charge includes entire western railway, as well as Mumbai region of Maharashtra and all of Gujarat region.

My main responsibility is auditing the train operations, work site safety as well as the creation of a safer work environment… overseeing all depts of railways concerned with train operations.

Prior to this charge, i was DRM (Divisional Railway Manager) of Mumbai division, WR. In this role. I was entirely responsible for all the assets of railways, movable and immovable, including a man power of over 24,000 people and an annual spend of O&M of 1400 crores. The Mumbai suburban system alone ran over 1400 trains everyday ! Carrying nearly three and half million passengers of Mumbai. I was in this role for over 2 years. (Till January 2025)

I have served in the Ministry of railways in New Delhi for nearly 10 years overseeing both the production planning of entire fleet of railway passenger coaches, as well as introduction of new passenger trains.

I have also served in Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFCCIL) as a Group General Manager of both Operations and Business Development, leading this cutting edge logistics organisation with flexible marketing strategies to implement the vision of cutting the logistics cost to below 10percent from existing 14-15 percent.

I have led the Indian railways IT production system of Freight Operations Information System (FOIS) Which oversees the operations of over two lakh freight cars everyday, with nearly 1700 million tons of freight annually, over 1,50,000 crore of annual freight revenue of IR, along with providing the complete customer interface of entire gamut of freight customers.

I belong to the Indian Railway Traffic service (IRTS) Of 1995 batch and have had my education from St. Michael’s High School, Patna and St.Stephen’s College, New Delhi. I am also an MBA.

I have also been trained in leadership and management roles at Singapore, Malaysia as well as Germany.

Deepak Kumar

Deepak Kumar is an esteemed industry stalwart, celebrated for his in-depth acumen in the corporate services realm, spanning areas such as Finance, Commissionable Insurance, Administration, Housing, Pension & Group, Corporate Governance, Business Processes, and Operations.

As the Executive Director at LIC of India in 2022, Deepak championed the cause of equipping teams at LIC with the essential tools, data, and processes to realize their set objectives.

Amid the global pandemic, Deepak showcased exemplary leadership. Holding the reins as the General Manager and Company Secretary, he facilitated seamless coordination among diverse business units. Deepak’s academic journey was just as illustrious. After obtaining his BA in Economics (Hons) from Delhi University, he went on to achieve an MA in Sociology from Delhi University in 1986. His academic brilliance was further acknowledged when he was honored with the Special Jr. Research Fellow Scholarship in the same year. Tracing his professional timeline, Deepak began with LIC as a Direct Recruit Officer in Agra in 1988. By 2008, he had risen to the role of Sr. Divisional Manager In-charge in Raipur. His ascent continued in 2011 when he became the Regional Manager for LIC’s Western Region in Mumbai, and by 2014, he was shaping narratives as the Secretary of Publicity at LIC India’s central office in Mumbai. In 2009, in pursuit of continuous learning, Deepak attended specialized training programs at prestigious institutions like MDI in Gurgaon, ISB in Hyderabad, and also in Hong Kong.
