The Annual Directors Conclave is the annual flagship event of IOD, which focuses on various current burning issues faced by boards, and the needs of the effective ‘Future Boards’. It brings together a large number of industry leaders, policy makers and board members, including IOD members, in its endeavour of "Building Tomorrow's Boards". This year's theme is "Reimagining Business beyond 2020: A Strategic Foresight".
The Conclave is addressed by eminent speakers, including Govt. Secretaries, CEOs and Thought Leaders from different spheres of life, who share their views with participants through interactive sessions.
Over 1000 participants are expected to join the Conclave through our licensed digital platform. It would also be Live-streamed on IOD's YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels. The Conclave will deliberate on the implications of Covid-19 pandemic on the future of business, on future of Boards and their transformational strategies in determining the corporate scene in the post-pandemic era beyond 2020. Corporates have to prepare to rebuild for a new normal, in which extreme events are likely to be more frequent than in the past. It will also facilitate an exchange of ideas, across sectors and geographies, by bringing together some of the key board leaders, professionals experts and policy-makers from around the world.
