H.E. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan is currently Hon'ble Governor of Telangana and also holding an Additional Charge as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
Born on 2nd June 1961, in Nagercoil, Kanya Kumari District, Tamilnadu. Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan took charge as Governor of Telangana on 8th September 2019 and she is the 1st woman to hold this Office.
She has a remarkable public & social service background spanning over 20 years. She also has an illustrious political career in last two decades where she has successfully led the state unit of a political party with noteworthy accomplishments.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan started her career as a medical practitioner after completing her M.B.B.S., P.G. in Gynecology (DGO). She has undertaken special training on Ultrasound & Fetal Therapy at Toronto, Canada. She worked as an Assistant Professor (Department of Gynecology at Sri Rama Chandra Medical College – Chennai) for 7 years & resigned in 2003 for full time political engagements.
She nurtures great devotion towards public service and enhancement of living standards of common people with focus on health and education as a prime agenda.
She is recipient of multiple number of National and International awards for her services to the society especially in the field of Politics, Public and Medical Services.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan is known for her strong advocacy towards uplifting living standards of people through better health and preventive care. She is a great admirer of social & cultural strengths of our country and very considerate towards inclusion of values & humility right at basic education system & upwards.

Mr. S. Regupathy, Hon’ble Minister for Law, Courts, Prisons and Prevention of Corruption, serves in the Tamil Nadu Council of Ministers - the executive wing of the Government of Tamil Nadu and headed by the State's Hon’ble Chief Minister M. K. Stalin. As a member of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly he representing Tirumayam, in the Pudukkottai District. He also serves in the General Council- the chief advisory body of the Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU), as the Pro-Chancellor. He is also the Pro-Chancellor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. Previously, he has also held other Ministerial portfolios with the state government including, Minister of Labour Welfare (1992 - 1993), and Minister of Urban Development & Housing (1993 - 1996). At the Centre, he has been a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India, representing then the Pudukkottai constituency of Tamil Nadu. He has also served as the Union Minister of State, Home Affairs (2004 - 2007), and Union Minister State, Ministry of Environment and Forests (2007). He is also, Chairman of ‘Karpaga Vinayaga’ educational group in Chennai. An advocate by training, he received his Bachelor’s in Law from the Madras Law College.

Mr. Sanjay Jaju, IAS is presently the Additional Secretary, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India (GoI). He is responsible for policies that bring in investments and growth in Defence and Aerospace sectors to advance the “Make in India” resolve. He has also been instrumental in setting up 'Defence Innovation Organisation' for creating a collaborative platform for startups to meet defence requirements. He successfully led the corporatisation of the Ordnance Factory Board, a long pending reform; has been the Founding Director, National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL). Prof. Soumitra Dutta has been appointed the Dean of Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, in June 2022. Previously he was the founding Dean of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. He is also President, Portulans Institute; Chair of the Board, Global Business School Network and Member, Global Board, Dassault Systèmes. Professor Dutta is an authority on innovation in the global knowledge economy. He is the coeditor and founder of the Network Readiness Index, published by Portulans Institute and the Global Innovation Index, published by the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). He received a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi; also an MS in both, Business Administration and Computer Science, and PhD in Computer Science, from the University of California at Berkeley. In 2017 he was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus from his alma mater IIT Delhi.

He has been recognised as the top 2% Scientists (International Level) in the field of Energy by Stanford University, USA in 2020. A Ph.D. from Anna University, his doctoral research was at the Solar Institute, Germany, under DAAD Fellowship by Germany. He has numerous research credentials, articles, to his credit and has been a consultant on a number of industrial collaborations and technology transfer projects, while also having taken up a number of green initiatives and Implementing several green initiatives on the Anna University campus.
