IOD Announcement: Institute of Directors (IOD), India Celebrates, its 36th Foundation Day
The Institute of Directors (IOD), India proudly celebrated its 36th Foundation Day on 13 July 2026, marking another significant milestone in its journey of advancing corporate governance, boardroom excellence, and responsible leadership in India.
To commemorate the occasion, Foundation Day celebrations were held at the IOD Headquarters in New Delhi, as well as across its regional offices. The celebrations brought together employees and leadership in recognition of the Institute's enduring achievements and shared vision for the future.
A special cake-cutting ceremony was led by the senior leadership, who conveyed their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all employees for their continued dedication and contributions. Addressing the gathering, the leadership acknowledged the collective efforts that have shaped IOD into the respected and distinguished institution it is today, while reaffirming its commitment to promoting excellence in corporate governance and board leadership.
The Foundation Day celebrations served as an opportunity to reflect on IOD's remarkable journey over the past 36 years and to recognise the people whose passion and perseverance have contributed to its continued growth and impact. As the Institute looks ahead, it remains steadfast in its mission of empowering directors, strengthening boards, and fostering responsible, ethical, and sustainable leadership for the future.
