IOD Distinguished Fellowship - 2024
H. E. Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the ADGM Registration Authority (RA) in 2023. In this role, he spearheads the innovation and supervision of registration procedures for both financial and non-financial service entities and real estate assets, under ADGM's purview, as well as ensuring that ADGM-registered legal entities adhere to the Institution's commercial Rules and Regulations.
With a history of key leadership roles at ADGM, including his earlier position as Chief Operating Officer, H. E. Hamad has played a pivotal role in shaping the organization's strategic direction. He was the driving force behind the ambitious "OneADGM Project," which aimed to achieve enhanced customer journey and support the growth of the international financial Centre, now located in Abi Dhabi.
As the Founding Member and the Chairman of ADGM Academy, the knowledge arm of ADGM, he plays a crucial role in furthering the UAE's national agenda of maximum employability. Collaborating closely with financial and digital authorities, he oversees various Governance committees to ensure that local human capital development aligns with the UAE's Vision for 2030.
H. E. Hamad brings with him over two decades of experience in strategic planning and business development, honing his skills in both the public and private sectors. His expertise encompasses strategy development, systems enhancement, standards implementation, capacity building, and organizational development, all geared up towards operational excellence.
He is an active member of the UAE-UK Partnership Consortium, working to strengthen common interests between the two countries. Prior to joining ADGM, he held key positions in The General Secretariat of the Executive Council and ADNOC/National Drilling Company. A graduate of Business Management from Portland State University, Oregon, USA, H. E. Hamad also holds an MBA from New York Institute, USA. He is one of the most respected and competent regulators in the UAE.
