Management Musings
In an industry crowded with frameworks and four-quadrant matrices, Management Musings makes a quieter argument that leadership is learned in the in-between moments.

R. G. Rajan
He is an Independent Director serving on the boards of several organisations. He holds a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi, and an MBA from Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow. With over 45 years of extensive experience, Mr. Rajan has worked across diverse sectors, including gas processing, pipelines, LNG terminals, petrochemicals and fertilisers. He has held several prominent leadership positions, including Chairman & Managing Director of Projects & Development India Limited (PDIL), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Limited (RCF), and National Fertilisers Limited (NFL). He has also served as Chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) and the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE). Since July 2016, he has been working as an Independent Consultant, drawing on his extensive experience in industry, leadership and corporate governance. In recognition of his distinguished career and contributions to the fertiliser industry, Mr. Rajan was recently conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Fertiliser Association of India.
