Prof. Peter Bonfield OBE FREng is the Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Westminster and former CEO of the BRE Group, a global leader in built-environment science and engineering. He has held major leadership roles, including President of the IET and Chair of IOSH's Board of Trustees, and now serves as Deputy Chair of London Higher, where he founded the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Network. A trusted adviser to the UK Government, he has chaired four official reviews, including the recent FloodReady Review, and co-chaired the TERC review for the EPSRC. He also helped create the Olympic Sustainability Strategy. Awarded the OBE, he is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. A former National Cycling Champion, he coached the women's triathlon team for the 2004 Olympics.
